A list of my favorite thrift shops in Los Angeles

You’ve been begging me for it for years, and I’m finally delivering! I’m giving up my secrets and sharing with you the very best of the best thrift shops in and around Los Angeles for clothing, shoes, decor and more! The best advice I can give you, wherever you are, is to just go into Google Maps and type in thrift shops. That’s what I did to find a lot of these spots and some that I never would have found ended up being the absolute best! Salvation Army , Goodwill and Buffalo Exchange (clothing) are hardly hidden gems, so I’m not mentioning them in the list, but they are always worth popping into and a great starting point for google maps!

I have a lot of spots to share so I’m going to break it down by city, affordability and type of item.

WEST SIDE (SANTA MONICA /VENICE/ CULVER CITY)

The West side has a TON of exciting gems!

The Mart Collective is a MASSIVE warehouse filled with tons of different vendors where you can definitely shop all day! Because there are so many vendors and styles, the prices are all over the place, from decent to extremely high. They have everything under the sun though and it’s definitely a fun place to check out!

Council Thrift Shop is ALWAYS a must for me. The prices are GREAT and I’ve found some of the BEST decor items, lamps, clothing and art here! There are several of these throughout the city and you should definitely hit them all! The westside and Fairfax (mid city) locations are my favorite.

Assistance League Thrift Shop is another big favorite of mine! Cheap prices! Again, there are more of them in LA and you should hit them all up for decor items, mirrors, clothing and art.

American Cancer Society Discovery Shop is another favorite that has multiple locations! Cheap prices! You can score amazing furniture, clothes and decor.

Pepe’s Thrifty Shop has some incredible vintage furniture, vases, lamps, decor but it’s not cheap. Not crazy expensive, it’s priced fairly and is unique.

BTS Thrift Store is MASSIVE and definitely has some unique gems, but a lot of it is more of what I would call an “antique” store and very expensive.

Love the City Thrift Store is hit and miss but I’ve scored some cool jewelry, clothing, glassware and knick knacks from there. Cheap prices!
